RR Wins! Everyone Else? Well, They Didn’t.

Posted on July 3, 2008 by Duman in From the Bus Stop

Round Rock won last night 7-4 but the big news was who threw out the first pitch. Brad Dydalewicz, the 8th round pick of the Astros, hasn’t signed yet but is hoping to begin his professional career soon. His pitch was high and outside. I wonder if that matches his signing bonus demands?Read More

At the Bus Stop, we like to reward winning, so we will being our trip around the farm with the only team that won last night.

Greeneville started Jordan Lyle in Kingsport last night. He only went two innings but they were shut out innings. Lyles gave up 3 hits, hit one batter but walked none and struck out one in his two innings of work.

“We wanted to limit him starting out,” said Linares. “His fastball was good and he was effectively wild.”
