The Astros busted a 1-1 tie in the 6th inning by scoring six runs, and held on in a wild 9th to record another road victory against the Dodgers. Matt Albers allowed a solo homer in the first, but settled down and pitched 6 2/3 strong innings to earn the win. In their big inning, the Astros combined six singles, a walk, and a sac fly to bust the game open, and Brad Lidge escaped a jam in the 9th for the save, with an assist from this man. Read More

First inning, here we go again. Woody started with a walk, a single, and two more walks to force in a run with no outs. Houdini then appeared, and after a strikeout, a pop-up, and a liner to right, only one run had scored. Woody settled down a baffled the Cubbies for 5 more innings, including retiring 10 in a row before leaving for a pinch hitter with the score tied 1-1 in the 6th.Read More
