Walk Offs for RR & Salem, Tri Cites Comes Back, Corpus Starts 2nd Half Right

Posted on June 19, 2008 by Duman in From the Bus Stop

Round Rock walked off with a win thanks to Edwin Maysonet’s 10th inning solo home run to give the Express a 4-3 victory.

“It feels great (especially) after going 0-4 and not helping the team at all in the first nine innings,” Maysonet said.

G-stros Win to Start Season, Tri Cities Needs Name Tags, Salem Loses in 14, RR Wins Shutou

We’re counting on him to be our No. 1 guy and he needs to step up and be that for us. It’s a long season. Stuff like that happens. I’m not worried about it.”

Listless. Uninspired. Mailing it in.  Dare I say, jaking it? After watching this team give one crappy performance after another, one wonders exactly what will get them out of the funk they are in. Read More
