Is ortiz getting squeezed? Gameday looks like it.
How did the Dodgers score?
Berkman flies out F8, 1 out.Does anyone really need me to continue?
Not me, but thanks anyway.
Aflac Trivia: What 3 teams did JD have the most wins against?
Dodgers, Braves and...Reds?
You do realize that you don't get any 'dings' for answering this one correctly, I trust...
Also, Pudge made a strong throw to Tejada with one out and runners on the corners for the second out on Kershaw's sac bunt attempt.
I'm listening to the radio, not watching it. Have they given the answer yet?
He might not be hitting a lick (typed as Pudge laced a single to right), but the arm is still pretty impressive.
Keppinger is impossible not to like.
Just an FYI, but I can't fucking stand Rafael Furcal.
Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggy
Matsui saves the day, beating Kershaw to the bag for the force out at second. Side retired. Also, Pudge made a strong throw to Tejada with one out and runners on the corners for the second out on Kershaw's sac bunt attempt. Astros 4, Dojers 3 Bottom 4th
Where the hell have you been all year?
I'm once again reminded how much better our organization could have been without Tejada, clearly the game has passed him by.Idiots.
Going back to that inning. I was thinking. In a situation where you have first and third, a pitcher clearly trying to sacrifice, and both corner infielders charging; would anyone else walk the left fielder in and have him cover third? (short woulc then cover second and second cover first)
Long story. I'll update in Beer and Queso sometime soon.
I will comment that it massively sucks NOT to get all the Astros games up here on North Texas tv. I get about half of 'em. Feh.
116 pitches for Ortiz through 5.
Nope, will update when they do.
I'm assuming that's it for him.
Yes, they did when they came on the air for the next half inning.Dodgers (11)Braves (10)Cardinals (9)
Is it just me or does Rex Jones look like the lovechild of the Mythbusters?
Looks like I booted that one...
I would love to get out-Whataburgered right now.
I had In-N-Out tonight to steal some LA mojo.
Look at that I-Rod bunt! Michaels safe at 3rd! Runners on the corners!!
Animal Style? *drool*
Animal style on the fries only.
Huh. Never had the fries Animal Style. Interesting.
Fatburger, baby.
Maybe I'll have to put 5-guys on the agenda whilst in NoVa this week. Haven't been far enough west to get In-N-Out in years.
I was blown away the last time I was in DC with how they've multiplied. There's even one at Dulles.
2 for 14 on the season with the bases loaded...
Just flipped over to the Rockets game and they're carting dikembe off the court on a stretcher. Not sure what happened.
So does that mean we'll go on a tear at some point too?
If he keeps this up I'm afraid we'll all have tears this season.
Aw, hell.
Still haven't seen the replay, but apparently some sort of collision with Oden and his knee/leg game out. Lots of talk like that's it for the wag....
Well, my buddies have left me here in the Club level on my own to go and watch the Rockets. The game hangs in the balance, and I can still see right down the wonderful cleavage of the girl in front, so I'm not moving.
It's the little things that make life worth living.
Celbrating their 400th store (#399 is in Houston)
There's a fairly new one in Austin too. North of campus on Guadalupe. I keep hearing about it but haven't tried it yet.
Trust me, they ain't little.
We're going to need an iphone photo.
Good job. She just left.
Undistinguished. Really.
Left DC for LA 5 years ago and there were only a handful at the time. I can't imagine expansion that fast helps quality control. But they were mighty fine burgers... perfect amount of grease / meat ratio.
They're good, but nothing spectacular. Dirty's, Hut's, Fatburger, In-And-Out, even Whataburger are better. But there's nothing like a Casino El Camino burger when you're in Austin.
Loretta looks weird in that batting helmet
They're good, but nothing spectacular.
The burgers at In-n-Out or the boobs in the Club level?
Great bunt!
Atta boy Kep!
I hate to say it, but In-N-Out can be very location specific too. The one by my house is pretty middling... which is probably good for me. But the one right by LAX on Sepulveda is always right on point.
If he keeps that up, I'll gladly take him Animal Style on an In-N-Out bun.
Well, you already informed us you're a fan of the DP.
I'm a selective ball fan. They must be Astros DPs.
Boobs, burgers and bunts. Great night.
The killer B's
Who is left in the pen, and why is Coop risking further injury to Valverde?
Alright...fuck these guys...GIDP, right here...pitcher's best friend....
I thought Brownie said Sampson's warming up.
Damn that was a good 0-2 pitch...here we go!!!!!
Pitching on one leg... incredible!
Jaysus, lookit that limp...
Between this and the one he took off his face last year, I think it's fair to say the man has stones.
Yep, but I question the decision to continue to let him pitch when his right leg is hurting him. Stoopid.
No DP when you're that limp.
wow.
Give that dude an extension
Coop's post-game quote will be: "Valverde's fine. He's fine. His leg was bothering him a little, but it's no big deal. He was hopping around but that's Jose."
GIVE THAT MAN A BEER!
"It's just a flesh wound"
"'Tis but a scratch."
"Your arm's off!"
Tough as nail, Papa Grande!
BrownieLucas interviewing Kaz and Kaz's translator. This should be fun.
Coop (rough quote): Valverde, I'm sure he'll be okay, he just bruised his heel a bit on that ball that was hit back to the mound.
"Look, I've had your leg off!"
Unbelievable ending. Striking out two solid hitters with the bases loaded on one leg? Greenvalley is a stud.Let's hope it's nothing too serious.
"I'm invincible! "
How can you not be a fan of Jose Valverde? Dude has cojones grandes.
