imo, he is a better every day option at SS than Bruntlett. i guess the Astros just told Ransom that he has no value to them. it is a shame if so. the man can play.
Wastn't Eric already on the 40-man?
DFA Burke.
Call up Bruntlett and Ransom. DFA Burke.
You might as well ask Purpura to castrate himself.
Of course if the Astros don't think Backe will be back this year they could put him on the 60-day as well.
Speaking of players that should be called up - why is Stephen Randolph still in Round Rock? Maybe they are waiting for Miller or Wheeler to get their e.r.a. up to 8.
Why is Brian Moehler still on the roster when we have Randolph lighting it up in AAA? I guess it goes to show you that the Astros racism is costing them ballgames. They deserve it. Since they are too racist to call up a black guy dominating Round Rock they deserve to have worthless Trever Miller and Brian Moehler get shelled and lose more ballgames. Is he going to be the everyday SS? Or the everything backup?
someone will have to play SS for 4-8 weeks. who?
Assumed that Loretta would play short when Biggio is playing and Bruntlett at short on Biggio's day(s) off.
So who plays 3b?
Probably Ensberg and sometimes Lamb.
i thought you were gone. did you promise Mommy you'd be nice this time?
Yep.
Probably Loretta part of the time and Bruntlett part of the time. Bruntlett should probably play when Sampson is pitching.
good deal
Did rambo2 learn 2 new words while he was away (Probably,Yep) I'm use to seeing him use these words...biggio sucks,Biggios lousy batting average,Biggio should sit, Biggio should NOT lead off, Biggio should NOT be on the Astros Lmao.
let's keep bruntlett, play him in rf and ship burke back out, call up ransom.
You have never seen the word sucks in any post that I have ever made.Biggio was a very good player and I am glad he has gotten some hits lately. Hopefully he can go on a hot streak and get his average up.
I like that. What's the prognosis on Luke?
Luke Scott is back in right field for Friday's game after missing five straight starts.Scott missed three games with a strained hip flexor and then two games with an abdominal injury. http://rotoworld.com/
Do you think you're fooling people with this routine?
Purpura (3/31/07, when Bruntlett wasn't on the OD 25) "I said to Bruntlett, 'If something happens to Adam [Everett], you're our guy. If you're not in the organization and something happens to Adam, we're in big trouble.' " Link
And hopefully that is what we will see. Loretta starting every day ... mostly at 3B but sometimes at SS and at 2B when Biggio rests. Bruntlett as the "everyday" (~75%) SS and Iceberg/Lamb splitting the non-Loretta time at 3B.
You have never seen the word sucks in any post that I have ever made.
Give the guy a break ... if he doesn't fall into the old habits, let's not force him there.
