Keppinger starting vs Rockies or Cubs? Tejada doesn’t think so, “This game is not about me taking a day off. It’s all about the whole team. Right now, we’re playing good baseball, and we want to keep it like that.”

“If [Cooper] decides I need a day, I’ll take it,” he said. “But I’m fine, and I’m not tired. It’s too early to take a day off.” Link

They’re just pitchers, how hard can that be?
“I thought Paulino threw the ball OK,” (game 1 Colorado) Cooper said. “He just wasn’t quite as crisp and sharp as he had been in the past. …(whining deleted) He didn’t make enough quality pitches.” Link

Les see, last start for Paulino was April 29 that’s a 2 week gap. When Paulino went to the pen he reminded us “I’ve never done relief, but I’ll be doing my job 100 percent,” Link Ortiz had a start in spring training March 31 before his first start on April 16, that’s 15 days between starts. He seemed like a different pitcher after the 2 weeks in the pen. Cooper .”I haven’t seen the same guy I saw in spring,” Cooper said. Link You ever think to wonder why Cooper?

Berkman’s back
Berkman said he was “very, very happy” with how his wrist felt. “I’m excited that I don’t feel like this is going to linger,” he said. “I feel like it’s behind me.”
