Failure to communicate

Posted on May 4, 2009 by pravata in News You Can Use

Remember last week when Manager Cooper took a wait and see attitude with Valverde and the head trainer Lucero said no way and told the higher ups to get Papa Grande up on blocks? NYCU

Good thing no one listened to him then, they could have lost a week fooling around with “rest”, remember the Caminiti incident?  But he seems to be at it again,

Manager Cecil Cooper was playing it conservatively after Sunday’s game when addressing Doug Brocail’s strained left hamstring, referring to his veteran reliever as “day-to-day” and offering, “We’ll find out more tomorrow to see how serious it is.” Link

Footer, (who heard him say we’ll see how he “feels”) put it this way,

“See how he feels? The man needed a cart to exit the field yesterday. We know how he feels. He feels like he can’t walk.” Footer’s blog

Brocail said

“Of course it will be a dl. No doubt.” and “…My main concern was just when I tried to roll over and I couldn’t move my leg, I said, ‘OK. I’m done.'”  Link
