R’ya deef? Valverde causing concern

Posted on April 27, 2009 by pravata in News You Can Use

Rickie Weeks explains his “error” on Berkman’s shot up the middle in the 3rd,
“I missed it,” Weeks said. When he was asked to elaborate, he repeated, “I missed it”. Link

Valverde’s injured.

“I’m not ready yet,” he said. “I don’t feel 100 percent, but I have to support my team.”

Valverde acknowledged that he probably did not give himself enough time to heal, but added, “There’s nothing I can do. I have to play my game. If I have to stop, I’ll do it. It’s my career first, you know what I mean?” Link

Footer thinks just saying this is could be a problem, she blogs,
For him to come right out and say, in essence, “I’m not fine” is worrisome. He must be in some kind of pain. Link

Zachary Levine (when did he get a byline?) got this quote, “Maybe I have to take two more days; I don’t know,” Valverde said after receiving postgame treatment. “I have to check it tomorrow.” Link
