“The most important thing is I felt good out there,” Hampton said.

“The results weren’t what I wanted, but for the most part, I was able to use both sides of the plate, use all my pitches and my body felt good as well.”

Added manager Cecil Cooper, “He got his work in — he just needed to locate a little better. He wasn’t able to do that. He just wasn’t in the zone enough, and when he was, he got some balls up. They had a good approach on him.” Link
