Round Rock

Josh Miller had his roughest night so far this year giving up 8 earned runs in 3 1/3 innings. Dallas McPherson hit 3 HR for Albuquerque as the Isotopes doubled up the Express 12-6.

Corpus Christi

The Hooks jumped out to a 5 run lead in the first. They didn’t score anymore after that. Midland, however, scored 11. Billy Hart extended his hitting streak to 10 games with a grand slam in the first inning. Mitch Einertson had another RBI bringing him to a team leading 28. He has hit .254 for the month of May after hitting only .217 in April.

Bud Norris was skipped over in the rotation last night. He has struggled in his last few starts and hasn’t gone deeper than 5 innings in any of his 8 starts this season.

Rehab starts: Tip Fairchild will make his first start for CC tomorrow after coming off the DL. Wandy Rodriguez will start on Thursday.
Salem was off last night

Lexington

For the second night in a row, the Legends faced a major league pitcher on rehab assignment. Sunday it was Jake Westbrook. Monday it was Joe Borowski. Borowski threw only 10 pitches in a perfect first inning. He said he is ready to return to Cleveland. The Legends didn’t do much damage against the other Lake County pitchers as they lost 10-4.
