Fernando Nieve will be moved to the bullpen for the rest of the season.  He’s been diagnosed with a deviated septum,

which along with his asthma and severe allergies has been making it hard for him to sleep at night.

Nieve was forced to leave his May 8 start at Colorado Springs because he had trouble breathing. The Astros made the decision at that point to use him relief the rest of the year.

Wade said. “We’ll get the deviated septum taken care of during the offseason and go into spring training and reevaluate the role…(his inability to pitch deep into games) seems to boil down to the fact the kid hasn’t been able to sleep …”  Link
