Wandy’s rehab progress

Posted on April 28, 2008 by pravata in News You Can Use

Wandy Rodriguez threw a bullpen session on Saturday morning, his first since the strain a week earlier.

“It went fine,” Cooper said. “Everything is fine.” Link

“It’s going well,” Cecil Cooper said (Friday) of Rodriguez’s rehab. “Pen Saturday and then at least one simulated (game) or maybe two.” Link

Rodriguez, is scheduled to throw a simulated game today even though he had discomfort with his strained left groin Saturday during his bullpen session.

“I feel good, but I did feel the pain,” he said. “I threw a normal bullpen, but I’m not healthy yet. I felt the pain, so we’ll continue the treatment and hope it gets better… I feel it when I push off toward home plate.” Link
