Apologies, just a very quick recap here

What can you say about Craig Biggio. He announces his (99.9% sure) retirement at the end of the season in the afternoon, then knocks a go-ahead grand salami a few hours later. Biggio hit a hanging slider from Rudy Seanez into the Crawford boxes in the sixth inning to break a 3-3 deadlock.
“Emotionally, it was a tough day,” Biggio said. “To have this happen is amazing. I still think I’m going to die early with all that has happened this season. I didn’t even feel like I was touching the bases as I ran around them. It was just magical. It was a special, special night.”

Jason Jennings once again started rough, allowing three runs in the second inning, but was able to harness his fastball and keep it down the rest of the game, winning for only the second time in a Astros uniform.

“He had that rough inning, but then he settled down after that and started making better pitches,” manager Phil Garner said. “He forced himself to get the ball down in the zone after that.”

A few other notables. Morgan Ensberg hit a game-tying two-run double a few batters before Biggio’s dramatic shot. The Astros scored in the first on a passed ball that was ruled a wild pitch. Brad Lidge saved his 4th game since returning from the disabled list July 12th.
