Given that the Astros did not have a fall instructional league (just like the year before), the chances of their not having a mini-camp prior to spring training for selected minor leaguers was pretty much nil. Footer confirms the startup date we had indicated previously (Feb. 22). Approx. 40 players (18 pitchers and 22 position players) will be in attendance.
We’re trying to see if we can obtain a list of the attendees (Koby Clemens was the only participant mentioned in the article).
