Venezuelan Winter League
RHP Paul Estrada: that run that he allowed in one IP in his initial appearance came as a result of a couple of base hits and a WP.
LHP Victor Garate: has now worked in 5 games this season with a 6.75 ERA (2 ERs allowed on 4 hits and 2 walks in 2.2 IP).
OF Jason Lane: through 7 games and 18 ABs, he’s got more whiffs (5) than hits (3). All of the hits have been singles and he’s yet to drive in a run. And he’s also yet to see action in CF, having played 4 games in LF and 3 as the DH.
RHP German Melendez: the former catcher has given up just 2 hits but walked 6 to go along with his 4.50 ERA (5 ERs in 10 IP) on the year. He has whiffed 8.
RHP Felipe Paulino: did not see action this week. Still stuck with that 5.32 ERA (14 ERs in 23.2 IP).
C Humberto Quintero: batting just .182 (6-33) over the last two weeks. Numbers for the season have fallen off to .307/.333/.482 through 29 games (35 hits in 114 ABs).
LHP Enyelbert Soto: his 5.25 ERA (7 ERs in 12 IP) on the year comes with a 1.75 WHIP (15 hits/6 walks).
Puerto Rican Winter League
1B Cirilo Cruz: stats for the Ponce club are missing this week. Will update when available.
RHP Raymar Diaz: did not pitch during the week. Has a 4.26 ERA (3 ERs in 6.1 IP) for the season.
SS Edwin Maysonet: continues his hot streak, going 2-5 over a couple of games during the week and is now hitting .500 (7-14) over the last 5 games. Now batting .255 (14-55) through 19 games.
Dominican Winter League
RHP Miguel Asencio: the newly-acquired reliever has a 7.37 ERA (6 ERs in 7.1 IP), a .313 BAA with 8 whiffs and 2 walks allowed.
RHP Zeke Astacio: pitched a scoreless/hitless frame during the week. His ERA for the year now stands at 5.40 (10 ERs in 16.2 IP).
RHP Sammy Gervacio: did not pitch during the week. Still has the 2.45 ERA on the year (1 ER in 3.2 IP).
