BA’s top 20 prospects for the Arizona Fall League (which concludes its season tomorrow) was tilted heavily in the Astros’ favor:
- OF Hunter Pence (#7)
- RHP Matt Albers (#9)
- LHP Troy Patton (#11)
Only two other organizations had multiple players on the list (the Rockies and O’s had two players apiece).
The Astros had zero players on the AFL Top 20 lists in 2005, 2004, 2003 or 2002 (though who the club chose to send to the league this year was definitely an upgrade over those sent in recent years).
