Roger Clemens pitched six shutout innings, striking out six on three hits and three walks and received run support on big hits by Luke Scott and Craig Biggio as the Astros took the final series with the division rival Reds, earning a 7-2 victory Wednesday.
The 30,000+ crowd gave Clemens several standing ovations as he also hit a double down the left field line and had a pair of sacrifice bunts. Scott hit a bases clearing triple in the 5th, his third consecutive game with a three bagger. Scott also had another upper deck solo smash to right in the 2nd, his second straight day for that feat. Biggio snuck a three-run shot into the Crawfords in the 6th.
