The Phillies hit four home runs, three off of starter Wandy Rodriguez, and swept the Astros in their own backyard in the three game series, winning 6-4 on Sunday afternoon and effectively slamming the door shut on the playoff chase for the defending National League Champions.
The Astros had the tying run on first in the ninth with two outs, but Brad Ausmus decided to swing at a 3-0 pitch, hitting a chopper up the middle for the third out.
The Astros record falls to 71-77.
