Roy Oswalt pitched a complete game but gave up a couple of runs in the final two innings as the Astros continued to struggle scoring runs on the road.
The good news, they finally did score one run, after a frustrating 21 inning scoreless streak. Lance Berkman doubled leading off the 2nd and scored
on a single by Preston Wilson. Wilson had three of the Astros four hits.
Oswalt gave the lead right back in the bottom half of the 2nd, allowing a solo homer.
Oswalt walked in the go-ahead run in the 7th, after a scary collision between secondbaseman Chris Burke and centerfielder Willy Taveras on a ball that fell in for a leadoff double. Both players remained in the game.
The Astros fall to 1-6 on the current trip and bid farewell to June and their 11-15 record during the month.
Day game tomorrow at 12:20, Wandy Rodriguez vs. John Wasdin.
