Each Monday (or thereabouts) during the season, we’ll do a weekly recap for each of the minor league teams. It’ll primarily be a statistical focus on each club, noting who’s hot/who’s not and that kind of thing. For selected players, we’ll also be following their stats on a monthly basis so you can see exactly who’s wearing down over the course of the season or which player is making the adjustment to a higher level as evidenced by a higher BA or lower ERA as the year progresses.
Both the weekly and monthly reports will focus mostly on prospects. We love the Alan Zinters of the world but knowing that he hit .222 in April followed by a .305 May just doesn’t do a whole lot for us.
