Ah, NL teams.  After 2 games of getting pasted by the Indians and Tigers, the Astros picked up their first Grapefruit win against the Braves.  The Astros collected 14 hits.

Newcomer Jason Jennings went 2 scoreless, but threw a lot of pitches and got some help from his infielders, one of whom was Mark Loretta playing shortstop.

Flapjack got off his horsey  The Link  and decided to play, bounced 2 singles up the middle and got a couple rbi.  Bruntlett bounced a single up the middle too, Doe-Ray likened the field to a parking lot, only there were more runners on and he got a couple rbi

Paul Estrada helped his cause with 2 solid innings.  He Kd Chipper who the Q later reported stepped out and inquired concerning one of Estrada?s pitches, ?what the fuck was that??

Lane hit another late inning homerun.   Hunter Pence got another double but almost screwed up a scoring opportunity in the 9th.  Bases loaded, one out.  Pence is on 2nd, back up catcher Davidson flies to right.  Anderson tags from 3rd, Pence tags at 2nd, the ball is cut and the throw goes to 3rd,  the play for the inning ending dp was close.  Doe-Ray had to hold the call until they saw that Anderson scored before the play was made at 3rd.
