Coin Toss--Bring It to Minute Maid!

We won the coin toss with St.Louis so we'll host a 1 game playoff if need be on Tuesday here in Houston.

I see.  So we only win the coin tosses when we're the longshot.

If I'm remembering this right, a few years ago, there were something like 7 teams that needed coin tosses between each other.  We lost all but one of them, and it was the team least likely to make a damn thing.

Edit:  Also, the Jakes would have to play SF on Monday to make up that game (and lose) before they'd come to Houston on Tuesday.  Can you imagine the pant-wetting that would go one about that!

I want to say it was two years ago when it looked like as many as 4 teams could qualify.

I think Houston faced possible back-to-back games in two different road locales. The Brandon Backe made sure they won it outright.

I'd rather use the karma on winning the games to get to the point where the coin toss matters, even if it meant having to win a playoff game on the road.
