Lamb at third
« on: September 22, 2006, 10:22:52 am »
I've been thinking about next year--not that I've given up, because I haven't--and I was wondering how bad Lamb is at third.  Could he be the regular starter there next year or would that be a bad idea?

Certainly no worse than Biggio at second or Huff in right.

Bad idea probably. I do not think he is as bad as everyone says but put him out there every day and I can't help but think his D is going to cost you a few games. We need him off the bench or in a lefty/righty platoon situation, IMO. Also IMO, he is not as bad defensively at 1B, but we already have a pretty decent one of those.
