Lofts (non-bb)

Anyone here live or lived in lofts around downtown? Like, the warehouse district, midtown or downtown? If so, drop me a PM, please

Anything inside the loop is considered "downtown" to me.  I liked Houston much better before "midtown" and "lofts". When inside the loop was the cheap option in housing.  Back when there were cool bars where you were afraid to touch the walls  Back before the Pic 'n Pack Icehouse turned into a parking lot.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Well, thanks. I think your definition of "downtown" is way off, though. Memorial Park, the Heights, the ship channel, etc., ain't downtown I like the area around the ballpark ad (true) downtown MUCH better here post-development. Lots of it was a dump before.

They are nice but expensive, for me at least.

Some nice ones, but I would be cautious not to buy in a sellers market which I think is more true today than it will be tomorrow.

Ah, not buying. Renting. Buying much of ANYTHING right now is a bit scary.

I'll take midtown and the lofts over the ghetto any day.

That sounds much like a tamer yet twisted HD rant from the old days.
