Who is Spack McGrimm? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear TZer's tell it, anybody could have worked for Spack. You never knew. That was his power. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

And poof. Just like that, he's gone.
Here are just a few of the key ingredients: dynamite, pole vaulting, laughing gas, choppers - can you see how incredible this is going to be?

Surely you had more in those two days than that thread, right?

Actually, I've met Spack.  He's got a big booming voice and deep, hollow eyes.  Travels around with a mean ol' hound dog.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

One thing about the Talk Zone, someone who never saw that discussion is sure to start the same discussion in two weeks.

I'll keep my mouth shut next time.

Statiscally speaking, it is impossible for lightning bolts to steal two days of your life.  I think whatever Jim's source was for making that statement is incorrect.

Quite frankly, I understood your argument well enough, but it got really muddied by others wishing to extend your point to ridiculous porportions.  Eventually, when even you tried to provide level-headness, the crawfishing and dance arounds were stunning and amazing.  One was left to wonder at the level of intelligence by the perpetuators.  When a quick peruse of the profiles proved to be a highly educated individual or so they claimed... then trolling was all that was left.

No one is *THAT* dense and stupid.  However, there are plenty of people that are *THAT* whack to want to bait for arguments, even stupid ones.  When one resorts to twisting the other person's point, it is an insult of high proportions and reason enough to end it all.

Ahum... I believe that Jim has little experience with acts of God to make such an assessment on lightning bolts.  das would be more believeable.

His profile gave him away.  For his lack of grasping the obvious, it was apparent he was intentional in what he was doing.  And he'll be back but not a contributor any more.  This baiting by the invading Clarks has run it's course and will be dealt with sooner from now on.

Honestly, it's not your normal Clark that is doing this.  It has been, by and large, a known group of Clarks that shall remain nameless for now.  It's not really important, but just suffice it to say it is kind of dissengenous to name them Clarks because it insults all the good Clarks we have in the TZ.

This was a new invading breed.  The jump in feet first, shoot from the lip, post as much as you can for as long as you can and see how many people you can piss off breed.  It was dealt with a little tolerance, but that only gave them a sort of whack sense of entitlement.  And this was an educated breed too.  I guess their existence on myspace.com ran it course for them and they branched out.

And we were blessed to have them show us what we must do in the future to preserve the caustic, yes, but still respectful discourse about baseball and life in this place.
