bullpen availability
« on: May 29, 2006, 05:00:07 pm »
Has anyone heard if Garner is going to make Qualls and/or Lidge unavailable for today's game? They each pitched 2 innings on Saturday and 1 inning yesterday, and Lidge had an inning on Friday and Qualls two innings on Thursday. Given the way Garner's talking about the way he uses his pitchers, that makes me think he'll avoid using them completely today, perhaps even in a save situation.
phew. for a minute there, I lost myself

Good call.  I didn't see anything before the game.  Wouldn't think we would, Garner wouldn't to tip his hand.  But, Qualls said 3 days in a row was too much after the game.
