Bonds: bone chips may force him to quit

Who didn't see this one coming a mile away?
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

"In the MLB.com interview, Bonds said he has "10 to 12 bone chips floating" in his left elbow, which he revealed is swollen "almost twice the size" of his other elbow."

And his other elbow is swollen twice the size it used to be before the flax seed oil was applied to it.

It all makes sense now.  Floating bone chips in his skull caused his head to swell up "almost twice the size".

I guess I unfairly jumped to conclusions.

Barry wasn't on steroids, he is just big boned... or something.

even if bonds quits that wont change what the grand jury decided about purjery will it? but if (and in my mind it is) all the steroid accusations are correct then any of the great records he has brok or would go on to break is a sham and a shame
forever is composed entirely of nows

How about removing the World Series part from your tagline? Bad karma.

 Bonds: Passing Aaron not likely

Quote:

"When you get older, you've got to hang in there and keep working out," said Bonds, who will turn 42 on July 24. "I haven't been able to do that up to my magnitude for over a year now. Running up and down hills, I can't do that. I can't leg press over 150 pounds because of my knee. So my whole body has gone in a different direction.

"My upper body is outdoing my lower body. My lower body, there's nothing there. When you're older and that happens, it's twice as hard to get it back. So I'm frustrated. I'm fighting to get the strength back at the same time I'm fighting to stay in shape. But I can't run. How do you do it?"

Over/under on how soon Barry looks like Sherman Klump. I give it 3 years.
