It's spelled with a "ph"?  Oh well, I guess I can shelve plans to go after the newly single Mrs Berg.

At the risk of grossing everyone out, I've had MRSA before too.  It's a bitch to get rid of, but it doesn't have any real symptoms that would stop Mo from playing ball.  As long as it's on the skin and not in the bloodstream, you're okay.

I've had it before, too, and once I started treating it with the right anti-biotics and a special soap for the area, it went away pretty quickly.  I second the opinion that it shouldn't have any major effect on Mo's ability.

Two buddies of mine picked it up doing crunches on the mats at college of the mainland a few years ago. Someone elses infected sweat gave both of them a raging case of staph ass and they didn't do much sittin' for the better part of 2 weeks. I think the younger brother ended up with a pretty big crater in one of his cheeks once it was all said and done...

The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Clank is starting at 3rd for the first game.

Probably due to having gone 5 for 14 with 3 dingers against Mattie Mo.

Gar had to get Lamb in this game.  Guess the Mo situation provided the best opportunity.  Plus, Berkman doesn't need to be slipping and sliding in LF with Clank on 1B.
