Glovezilla is perfect.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

I didn't care for TRO.

Just keep sitting out there where we were on Opening Day. It's probably far enough away that it wouldn't violate a restraining order.

Mmmm, spareribs.

I swear to god, I almost suggested "Sprunt" yesterday. But then I thought of "Half-a-Bee" and suggested that instead. I also like Glovezilla, Slappy, and Citgo.

Although Matthias is a great reference, it may be a little obscure for most.

How about Godfather, for the sequel that may be almost as good as the original?

I like Franchise. And I like B-Rod for TRO.

There is no TRO.  It expired years ago.

B-Rod is good.  I think Damn could be good also.  You know like, Damn he is fine, or Damn he hit into a DP.

Nicely done.  Speaking of wet fields:

Ugh.  Tonight's game will be very tough to get in.  Monster storm lurking out to the west.  *Lots* of rain and raw.  Tomorrow night's game will yeild the best conditions of the three as the storm moves south.  Thursday has the cut-off low moving back to the northeast and approaching the coast.  Hopefully they can get the day game in before it arrives.  Especially since I will be there!

Here's an animated pic of the beast:

I'm sure you knew this and just refuse to honor all these changes, but the name "Pac Bell" is no more.

I think Token's great.  But I am concerned that there are many who would miss the irony.  Rainman's good too, not just because of tendency to say "definitely" a lot, but also because he's pelting the outfield seats.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

Besides, Waldo already used Rainman in last game's wrap up so it's set in stone.

Subtlety is wasted on you people, from the Sat. recap.

"...bottom of the 9th Preston Wilson added a token run with a homer to right. That makes 3 games in a row that Berkman and Wilson have homered; definitely an improvement over last season"

My only concern with Rainman is that Tom Cruise will start hanging around MMP pestering fans about Xenu and Katie Holmes.

Token's absolutely unacceptable.  There's no subway in Houston.

I still haven't been on that People Plowing train they built, does it take tokens?  I suppose one of these days when I'm back in town I should swing through and get hit by it.
