"Welcome to the home of the National League's best team, where tradition reigns, expectations are high, the manager's mood tends to hinge on the results of today's game, and the players are conditioned to go along for the ride."

"No one was going to deny the White Sox last year, sure, but how would a Cards-Sox Series have turned out? It would have been a longer Series. Too bad we didn't get to see."

Huh.  That's a curious claim, especially seeing as how the Co-ards were also swept the previous year.  And it's not like they didn't have their chances, what with the Red Sox committing about 7 errors per game.

Duke is out of the NCAA, so the media has moved on to the April flavor of the month.

The best team in the NL will be determined in October.  Just like last year.
