I missed the bus = the bus was at fault

They changed the schedule = Olympic's planners are to blame

It was every 10 minutes. Today it was every half-hour = Ahhhh... it was a conspiracy..yeah..that's it.

I was late getting here and never caught up = that damn bus!

I never felt comfortable in this building = contractors fault

I didn't feel my inner peace = Gods fault

I didn't feel my aura = Gods fault

Inside I was black = NTTAWWT

Never once did he blame his parents or coach for raising and tolerating such an indulged wussy.

Ok, since this is the first and, I hope, only Olympic thread: All I care about watching in the winter Olympics is hockey.  But because every game is broadcast live (morning in the USA) I haven't seen any games.  Maybe this weekend.

basicaly i get up sign into yahoo. check the medal count and forget it. i too watched idol instead of the olympics. there just doesnt seem to be be the team comradery or the special story or the spark of usa usa. or maybe i am just getting old and jaded

Man, I hope you are watching the USA vs Sweeden, tied 1-1 after 2 periods. It's not a a must win game but they're playing like it is. An intense game, lots of physical play, great penalty killing.

No, because she doesn't look 21, or barely 18, in that picture and she's obviously going for something a little less pure than Olympic glory.  

It's just my impression but it struck me in the same way Britney Spears' gyrations to "Baby Hit me one more time" at age 15 while wearing a school girl outfit, fulfilling ever dirty old bastards fantasy. In other words, inapppropriate.  

And don't turn this into me having some issue with porn, as I have no issue with adult porn, other than the occasional horrendous boob job giving me the sceeves.  If the notion of kiddie porn doesn't turn you off, then I cannot even begin to understand you.

Yes, but because I don't find it entertaining.  Look it's apparent neither of us is going to get anywhere with the other.  I'll try one last time to clarify, I have no problem with figure skating, figure skating outfits, gymnastics, gymnastic outfits, or any piece of clothing or a person wearing said clothing for the purpose of whatever sport they are competing in.  It just so happens those outfits are specifically part of the competition (figure skating) and/or necessary based on the demands of the sport(try gymnastics in a dress!).  

What does bother me, is posing kids in sexually suggestive poses and trying to pass it off as sport or entertainment.  And for the record, I'm 31, and probably closer to Ms Cohen's age than you may be.  Knowing now, as I did not before, that she is 21 and just looks young, I could care less what she's doing.  

Do me a favor and stop trying to play me off as some prude and I'll refrain from accusing you of being good buddy's with Gary Glitter.
