15GWJRob was last seen in Louisville ... he should get a contract with the local bat manufacturer if his stats are any indication.

Umm.  I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, Jim.  Unless, of course, he was saving his best stuff for next year.

I always thought having Mr. Joshua on our team was a nice intimidation factor we had going for us.

Duckworth is much better than he showed last season. I wish him well too.

It seems that a lot of "baseball" people agree with that assessment. Which begs the question, if he's got the goods why hasn't he been able to deliver them? He's had ample opportunity.

He pitched VERY well for the Express after he was sent down.  It was quite shocking, but true.

You are kidding, right?  4.61 ERA??  .301 opponents batting average??  Over 1.5 baserunners allowed per inning??  *17* home runs in 115 IP???

I'd rather have Timmuh back.

I think Tralfaz meant that he pitched well compared to Timmah.
Lighten up, Francis.

The scary thing is that those numbers are a substantial improvement over his 2004 season in AAA.

I doubt very many baseball people would say that anymore. He's been put through waivers twice in a year untouched, could only manage a minor league deal with the Pirates, and will likely spend most if not all of next year in AAA.

He had a good brief debut in '01, but he sucked in '02 and '03, and sucked hard in '04 and '05.

Not kidding at all.  Agreed his ERA for the season was no head turner. But I saw one, and remember several more of his last starts, were VERY impresive outings.

Well ... as noted elsewhere here, they did not appear to impress any GM's out there.
