Garner on 610

yesterday.  Other than the usual Clemens yada, something "exciting" about to happen.  Any minute now.  Scraps reports that Bagwell is able to lift weights again, something he hasn't been able to do for 3 years.  No report on whether he can throw a ball across the infield and Garner refused to speculate on whether Bagwell would consider that an impediment to his returning in 06.  Also, Ausmus is being offered a 2 year contract.

My gosh. I wish they would stop it with these teasers. It's killing me. Just tell me when something gets done. My imagination begins to wander, and I'm afraid I'm being set up for a disappointment.

That's good to hear about Bagwell and Ausmus. I'm really rooting for Bagwell to be a solid member of the offense next year.

I especially wanted to mention the Ausmus offer, figured that would make some peoples head explode.

Two years doesn't surprise me. I figured they would have to give him at least that to keep him. I guessed that any offer from San Diego would be for two years.
