(Old) Astros retrospective
« on: November 01, 2005, 06:30:35 pm »
I don't think I've seen this posted here, but it may have been.

During the WS, I found some video of an old documentary about the Astros on MLB.com, with game videos and interviews with players. The same is there for the Sox too. It was obviously filmed in the late 1980s, and it shows the history of the Colts/Astros in 5 different segments. There are segments about the 1950s-60s, 1970s, 1980s, Colt Stadium, and the Astrodome. It is especially cool to see the 1980s segment and relive the first two division championships.

In case you haven't seen them, go  here and click on any of the video links to open the MLB video player. Scroll down the navigation panel on the right to "Houston Astros History" and enjoy.

BTW, I didn't remember Craig Reynold's hair being a solid white-man-fro.

I didn't see any videos but I'm thinking of trying the Durmstrang Edelweiss Torte.
