Not that it really matters because we would've lost anyways, but still interesting.

Has to have been Podsednik.  No way he hits that homer off Lidge without juicing up like Belushi in that "Steroid Olympics" skit from SNL.

Its this kind of wild misuse of "facts" that make newsgroups so dangerous.   It wasn't Belushi in the Drug Olympics skit, it was Phil Hartman.

 Drug Olympics

Belushi was in the "little chocolate donuts" Olympics skit.

 Little Chocolate Donuts

Geez.  Let's all endeavor to be a little more accurate.

Now back to speculation about those cheatin' AL'ers.

So noted.  I'll have to take your word for it since the video shuts down on me halfway through Nealon's intro.

You don't have to take his word for it...Belushi was already dead by the time Nealon was on SNL.

I thought the guy said it was a name we would care about...  Lawton is a nobody, who hit like a .125 for the Yank-me's.  he didn't even make the post season roster for them.  I feel cheated!

Clasic.  We're promised an AL OFer we'll care about, and instead we get a former Crub left off the Yanquis playoff roster and who won't be re-signed by them.

In other news you'll care about, George Steinbrenner reports he's much more regular after adding more bran to his diet.  And Derek Jeter says he likes to turn the sound down during commercials.  More details soon.

I don't care if he's high profile or not, a fool is a fool.  Don't forget, it's scrubs like this that started hitting 50 bombs a year that got us to this point.  I'm glad he's been outed.

Big names can afford the better stuff and the masking agents to avoid detection.  Scrubs are probably limited to the Urinator.

I'm still amazed that Raffy Palmeiro was stupid enough to get caught.  Apparently all his brains are in his pants, and even that needs some help.

That's the "Whizzinator".  The "Urirnator" is what they called George Costanza when he pissed in the shower at the gym.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Thanks.  I couldn't remember the name, and my company's internet fun-filter wouldn't let me search for it.

Expect me to get called for mandatory drug screening shortly.
