Face Painters
« on: October 28, 2005, 12:59:52 pm »
I was unable to attend either of the home games due to work, had tix for last night that went unused unfortunately .    Watched both games from a hotel room, smoking cigarettes, drinking beer and refreshing the gamezone (which was very therapeutic btw).

One of the running themes in the gamzone threads was the number of double-digit IQ folks at MMP with face paint.   Basically everytime FOX showed the crowd, it was of either a SOX fan or an Astro fan with face paint.

So for those at the game, were there really that many face painters at the game?

Also, is anyone here a face painter or know a face painter (over the age of 8) that can give us some insight into to the thought process that goes into leaving your house with paint on your face?
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

I don't think you should rag on folks just for supporting their team.

I saw a few, but I thought they were great because most were kids.  I personally wouldn't do it, just 'cause of all that gunk on your face.  But you should have seen my car.  The windows were painted red & gold w/ the Astros logo on the back, the stars on the side.  Oh, yeah, and flags.
It's the freakin' World Series

they had a booth set up outside the park for that.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

There were a couple of very nice looking women who had well placed stars painted on the upper part of their chests.  I really admired those paint jobs.
