Show the fucking baseball game instead your promos.  Would've been nice to see the Ensberg homerun.

FOX does.

They paid good money for those tickets!
Gotta pimp the product.

I first I pissed at FOX for trying to squeeze in as much football as they could before the game.  Then I have to see J. Zelasko and those earrings and I realize their pregame show sucks anyway

I saw him rounding first...they were playing that "I live for this promo", came back, and MoBerg was rounding the bases.  Did he hit the first pitch, or did they miss even more than the HR swing?

I didn't see it because they didn't show it.  They were in commercial then cut to Ensberg rounding the bases.  They only showed it on replay.  At least that's how it was in Houston.

In DC, they came back right as the pitch left the bat.  Just like Ensberg's pop-out during the All-Star Game.
"Ground ball right side, they're not gonna be able to turn two OR ARE THEY, THROW, IS IN TIME!!! WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE TURN BY BRUNTLETT AND EVERETT, AND THEY CUT DOWN MABRY TO END THE GAME, AND THE ASTROS LEAD THIS NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES THREE GAMES TO ONE!!!!!"

i caught the ball hitting the bat..and it going out..so i saw all but the wind up and the release..i think part of this can be attributed to Buehrle's quick pitching

No, 100% of it can be attributed to the idiots at Fox who think it's more important that we see their commercials than the game.  Buehrle and Ensberg didn't run out of the dugout at the end of the previous inning and immediately go to work.  There were warm up pitches, and the umpire had to put the ball in play.  Fox, or whomever, was napping, more concerned with pimping the next "Meet Your New Mommy" show than the World Series game they were broadcasting.

I think it can be attributed to Fox trying to squeeze every last cent out of advertisers. I've missed several pitches due to the late return. Show the damn game.

Fox says that is EXACTLY why it happened (page about halfway down)  "commercial breaks were increased for Game 2 for most innings to two minutes and 55 seconds."  The Link

Ridiculous.  They want their 5-hour marathons that the AL usually gives them.

i wish they would stop caring so much about ratings and just show the baseball...ratings shouldnt even be a concern when a CHAMPIONSHIP is on the line..

Umm, if it's any indication, there's no way baseball is played on a raw, Chicago night if it wasn't all about ratings and the money that comes with it.
