I think that Ensberg's "slump" is a bit overstated.
We smoked 2 balls 410 plus feet over the weekend with the braves, that if he would have pulled a little or if we didn't go 435' straight away could have been home runs. Andrew Jones made a great diving play on him in game 5 and Edmonds made a circus catch on him on what would have been an RBI triple if the ball is two feet further to right center.
I'm not saying that he hasn't had some bad at bats as well in the last 3 or 4 games, but if just two of those 4 things go differently then we aren't talking about MoBerg's slump- he's hitting about 300 in the playoffs, and he's got a couple more rbi's.
Just my thought on this whole deal.
I'd think maybe Gar should pull Lane though- he's been back to Bizzaro Lane his last 3 games and we know he's a steak guys. Burke in Left, Berkman in Right and Lamb at 1st, with Lane available as our pop of the bench. That makes more sense then sitting our Wily.
