Lake Jackson/Freeport area -- place to watch the game?
« on: October 05, 2005, 11:03:37 am »
I have to be in Freeport today on business and was wondering if there's a good place in the area to catch the game.  Any Brazoria county folk know of a good hangout?
Lighten up, Francis.

I lived down ther for a long time, but lots of stuff has changed over the last 5-10 years. I agree. Chili's is probably your best bet.
It's my estimation that every man ever got a statue made of 'em was one kinda sombitch or another.

(Well...I work in Lake Jackson and have been a follower of this board since '98 when I was stationed in Rota, Spain and trying to keep up with the astros...but I never post, just read.  I saw this post and figured it was time to finally break the "non-posting" trend.)

So, to answer this post...Chili's will have the game on...it's right off of HWY 332 in front of the movie theater.  Really close to Chili's is another place to watch the game called Ricochet's.  It's a pool hall but it will have the game on as well.  One other place will have it on in Lake Jackson...another pool hall called Shooter's.  If you want more info on how to find these places, email me.
