Are you fucking kidding me?  This ass-clown has ZERO credibility as an "author" after this gaffe.
"Ground ball right side, they're not gonna be able to turn two OR ARE THEY, THROW, IS IN TIME!!! WHAT AN UNBELIEVABLE TURN BY BRUNTLETT AND EVERETT, AND THEY CUT DOWN MABRY TO END THE GAME, AND THE ASTROS LEAD THIS NATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES THREE GAMES TO ONE!!!!!"

Speaking of which, Pinwheel blogs after Friday's game "Big players play big in these situations. Berkman is playing big. Morgan Ensberg and Jason Lane aren't (they're a combined 0 for 13)."

So Ensberg going 4-5 and Lane 2-4 in the 2nd game in St Louis v. Carpenter didnt count?

No? in Austin

Lane got the two biggest clutch hits in the last two days of the season too.  And MoBerg got a hit to start the scoring for Houston on the last day.

Freaks.

Also (and I haven't looked so this is a blind comment), I seem to remember Ensberg hitting a lot of singles, Berkman getting a lot of walks and Lane getting a lot of RBIs.  0-13 doesn't mean shit without context.

Sandberg's "preview" also contains everyones faovrite and the ultra fresh heading of...

"Houston has a problem"

Original!
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Deleting that line from Apollo 13 is on the list of things I would do if I could go back in time. It's right behind preventing the creation of Texas A&M.

Over the last 10 years, any national coverage of a Houston-based team will include at least one, "Houston, we have a problem!"

Alex, I'll take overused crutches for no-talent assbag color guys for $500 please.

After being taken to overtime by Baylor for the second year in a row, I'd be a little sensitive, too.

No reason in the world to bring up A&M right now.  Texas Football is playing in a different statosphere.

Hope you guys can keep it up through the weekend.

AP Wire: September 29, 2005
A seven-year-old boy was at the center of a courtroom drama today when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge then suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him.
After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Houston Texans, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

And yet we still have a better record against oklahoma in the past six years.
Here are just a few of the key ingredients: dynamite, pole vaulting, laughing gas, choppers - can you see how incredible this is going to be?

That's not as bad as Greg Lucas yesterday.
