Simply gut wrenching.  It had to come down to the last play on the last day.  Time to celebrate!  Cheers ya'll!

Whew, excellent win. It came a few weeks ago, but I think Biggio's homer off Billy Wagner was the biggest hit of the regular season.

It is, now.

Funny how in a 162 game season, one pitch/one swing of the bat can change everything.

My vote goes to Bagwell's game winning double a couple of weeks ago. Totally clutch.  Nice to see him back on the field, if only to bat.

I'll take Bruntlett's dong in July at Washington.

Hard to pick a true point where this thing turned because there were so many times when the "just keep grinding" mentality shined this season.  Another favorite was the night ESPN had predicted showing Barry Bonds breaking Ruths HR record at MMPUS.  Morgan Freaking Ensburg showed up, in his absense, and proclaimed "Barry who?" and mashed three bombs of his own for the nation to chew on.  Then who will ever forget Rockets performance the night his mother passed.  What a roller coaster of a year.

Another in the line of games with pitchers who may have their mind on something else...

How about Backe's Evacuation Day performance?
