People should not conflate Verducci's contribution to TV broadcasts (shoehorned in by hamfisted producers) with his skil as a baseball writer.   He is great at his real job.

Interesting to read to aside about Sanchez being crap at catching (and not much better at hitting).  How many runs did the Astros score courtesy of Sanchez’ largesse begins the plate?

Fantastic read, thanks for sharing.  Could have done without the bit that made me hate Gardner less...but he probably won't be a Yankee next year anyway.
