Fuck 'em.  Then pound some Budweiser.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

B1:

Springer hit by pitch, right on the big toe
Altuve...quickly 0-2 waving at sliders in the dirt...singles on a pop up down the LF line...Springer had to hold and stop at 2B, otherwise it was a double
Bregman...0-2...2-1 on a pitch that Mathis whiffs at, goes back to the screen, but runners don't move...grounds into 5U-4 double play, Springer out at 3B, Altuve out at 2B, Bregman to 1B
Alvarez strikes out swinging...slider low and away

No score

(Beg pardon if this is old info and since it comes from a foreign source.)

As JV was announced, we were told while the team arrived around 5 AM from CA, JV came early.  When offered the same travel deal, Altuve declined.

After going 0-5 with 2 ER, Hinch joked that he was having second thots about encouraging him to get some extra rest....

I enjoy them striking out Andrus even more.   He has killed us thru the years.

Santana grounds to 2B...Straw there in the shift, but no one to cover 2B...Straw runs down Choo, but too late to turn two...score it 6U.
Andrus grounds to SS, Straw fields it, double clutches, flips to Altuve at 2B and Altuve bounces it into the stands, Andrus to 2B on the TE4.

Bregman!

Only two MLB players w/ 25+ HR & more BB than SO:
Trout  30 HR - 77 BB/70K
Bregman 26 HR – 76 BB/56K – w/ a 34.9% swing rate!

Both are in the bottom five for swing rate: Trout #5 & Bregman #3

You think? God you are a homer.
The second one was in the second row, but the first was way gone.

Having watched the video... yeah I was wrong about where the first one hit. Thought it hit a few feet over the line. So I'm just a dumbass, we all know this already. I apologize for not being fully engaged

Rangers didn't hit anything hard in that inning.

Aside from the wp, Harris was good.

(I'm assuming the Pence walk was unintentional-intentional)

Surprised to see Pence not bite on four pretty good sliders. I haven’t watched him close this year, but that isn’t the Pence I remember.

Time to get the bats going again.

Are we in for Minor?

7 Innings, our lineup can be damn good with homers, but he's got 10 SO this evening.  Is this an audition?

Prolly not gonna trade with the Gers, but something to consider I guess.

Did he just take a bow coming off the mound?  In the 8th...of game he was losing...in July?

EDIT: Urquidy is being called up and will take White’s spot on the roster. No confirmation as I type this that he is starting tomorrow.

Not sure I said that exactly.   I think it is difficult to attribute "what I want" from one post -- other than an Astros win.

Was saying that hitting Houston's best hitter in the head on 3-2 and then behaving like an ass might get a response.
This was  more speculation that we might see  more fireworks tomorrow (now today).

LeClerc might be the spark is all.  Why?  Well half of our nation is experiencing a literal dome of heat.  Tempers flare and get hot.   Probably on the baseball diamond too.
