Crap.  Tuves chops one to 3B and beats it out, but was running the last 30 feet with his back straight up and chopping his steps.   Takes himself out of the game after a couple of pitches.

Hopefully something minor, and the time off will do him some good.

3-1 for Bregman and gets a pitch to hammer and weakly pops out to the little pube-bearded fuckwad at 2nd. And should've been a double play but Odor throws it away.

The Brantley weakly pops out as well.

You can always quibble about the "best" fielder at most any position, but if anyone is playing a better SS than Correa so far this year I'd like to know who, and then watch the tape of all his plays.  Guy has been amazing this year.

I recall that Altuve had recommended Chirinos to Luhnow. Described him as a high-character guy.

By the accounts I read, he has worked very hard to improve his catching and has been receptive to the information and instruction from the Astros’ staff.
