Might have gotten lucky on that replay review, looked out to me.  Springer's had some interesting baserunning adventures the last couple of games.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

The freeze-frame they showed was after Springer was on the bag. He got his hand in before the tag, I thought.

Also, what a shitty at bat by Bregman with a chance to do some damage. Just flailing at everything.

Threw him a cookie.

It's like people have forgotten that he swings at pitches he couldn't hit with a hockey stick.

Bregman with the bases loaded...misses a slam by a couple of feet. Ends up a sac fly. Correa strikes out to end the inning. 2-2 ballgame.

That's the pic I was thinking of.  Awesomeness.

I like this Hunter Pence Scouting Report Generator:  https://www.mccoveychronicles.com/2016/4/4/11335276/hunter-pence-scouting-report-sf-giants

Hunter Pence runs like some hideous dolphin-man with flipper feet keeping up with a broken treadmill, but he's a very talented baseball player.

What stood out to me is that Reddick avoided the classic mistake of going up against the wall before jumping. He needed that extra clearance to reach over.

What stood out to me is that Reddick avoided the classic mistake of going up against the wall before jumping. He needed that extra clearance to reach over.

It helped that he was playing deep in a "no doubles" alignment, but he still played it perfectly.  You'll be seeing that one on the highlights for years to come.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

His timing was perfection. He caught the ball as his body hit the wall, and was as extended as he possibly could be without using the wall for leverage. And lucky for everyone, there weren't any dicknuts fans sitting in the front row to fuck it up.

Yep, leaky roof with the assist.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

Why was the roof leaking?  Have the seals gone bad?

According to Reid Ryan, there are "baffles" that were blown out of position by the wind which allowed the rain to come in.

Baffling.

40mph with gusts to 50mph in a wet microburst make the water find a way in.  Typically torrential rain will only go sideways for short durations of time but this was noteworthy for duration and intensity.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

Thank goodness for the rain. As others have said, with fans in the first row, he might not have made the catch even if they had left the ball alone.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.
