Berkman gets stiffed again. Aspromonte, Umbricht and Reynolds over Lance. Really?

ETA: Shane not Craig

Umbricht? Again?
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Why not Walt Bond?

Heart-warming of the Twins to release a guy dying of leukemia.

Trivia note: until Aaron Judge tied him this past season the 6'7" Bond was the tallest player ever to play CF when he started a game for the Colt 45s at the position in 1964.

Umbricht? Again?

I’m guessing all the retired numbers were automatic. But Shane Reynolds?  Really?  I’m guessing the Astros HOF will be pretty full in a year or two. They’ve set the bar pretty low.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Is this just so they can sell tickets to the Berkman & Oswalt induction days?

Sadly, you're probably right.

Retired numbers/walk of fame members are all going in the first year
