LSU/Texas A&M: Game of the Century so far
« on: November 24, 2018, 11:35:07 pm »
Officials were not going to let LSU win that game, but wow...
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Congrats to the Aggies for finally taking the win the officials gift-wrapped for them over and over.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Not really. We expect to win games. Even though we mostly haven't for 10 years.

Aggie Twitter is trying to decide what to call this one: The Midnight War, or The Afterbath.  I prefer the latter.

That would've had a poetic ring to it, but I'm not sure my liver would've lasted another 5OT.

I hope all the people who just loooove competent football officiating were just watching the NO/Dallas game.  What a joke.
You may ask yourself, "How do I work this?"

They seem to be missing a lot of pretty obvious stuff this year. But cheer up: there are always the capricious interference calls to keep things interesting!

I finally figured out what a reception is, but I know longer know what pass interference is.

The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it

Congratulations, you passed.  Here's your whistle and striped shirt.

The most incredible thing to me is that, at this point, NFL refs are all wearing headsets and communicating as a unit.

And somehow that has made them WORSE. It makes NO sense.

Actually, it makes perfect sense.
