I'm definitely getting a little concerned about JV lately. Looks like he is pitching a little tired.

JV has 2 Ks which puts him over 250 for the year and joins Cole as the first teammates to have over 250 in a season since 2002.

I think the key part was that we were unable to GIDP no matter how hard we tried.... hope JV has got it together now.

Good job by the Trainer twice redirecting Altuve back to the convo. Not sure he should be in there.

That single was a sharp ground ball right to Altuve who's knee gave out and he just collapsed in a heap.  He's gonna stay in, but that did not look good.

It looked more like he tried to slide to make the play. The ball was a little to his left.

It was to his left, but he was there, and it looked like he went to plant his left leg and the knee just gave out.  He may have been sliding though, I'll have to look at it again.

It kind of looked like his knee caught the edge of the grass when he went down. He rolled over right as he went down.

Yeah, I think it was a combination of funky spin and battling the lights.  He stayed with it nicely though.

One of the foul balls he hit right off the end of the bat.  I know that had to send the bees buzzing up his hand and arm.  Hopefully that's all it is.

I think it will be with Springer the rest of the year. He’s lost control of the bat on a number of whiffs recently, one tonight.

Good win boys!

That was that half game difference in the standings, and you just pushed the lead to three full games.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

One of the foul balls he hit right off the end of the bat.  I know that had to send the bees buzzing up his hand and arm.  Hopefully that's all it is.

Also happened a couple of times over the weekend.
Oye. Vamos, vamos.

That single was a sharp ground ball right to Altuve who's knee gave out and he just collapsed in a heap.  He's gonna stay in, but that did not look good.

I was listening to the radio feed (reinstalled the app and got it to work). The call was 'ground ball to the right side' and I was thinking double play.   Then 'it's past Altuve and he's hurt!'.

I wanted to vomit.

That grounded and Bregman’s throw were plays Altuve makes if he is healthy.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Springer’s thumb is hurting also. Walking Wounded.

Springer is not in the lineup tonight.
