In other news, the Yankees loaded the bases with nobody out and trailing by one the Orioles in the bottom of the 12th. Aaron Judge promptly hit into a 1-2-5 DP and Stanton k’d swinging to go 0-7 on the day. Schaudenfreud!

The Astros do like them some fastballs and his is pretty straight (but very fast and well placed). His slider is beautiful. He represents the matchup with the Astros that I am most excited to watch this year. Strength on strength...

96 on the heater,  86 on the splitter.   Lots of hitters out in front and then the thing drops for good measure.

I'm sure lots of teams are looking at lots of video to see if they can pick up a tell.

I'm not surprised that they're uncommon, but I am surprised that they are that uncommon.  First time in the Orioles' 117-year history is crazy.
