So, double switch and Morton?
Is Morton coming in?
Damn. Missed opportunity.
Yep. Starting off with the back half of their lineup. Needs to set them down.
Strike 1 FB. Really wish he was sitting on that.
Get the sundial out, McCann is running.
That's been a fucking strike for every Dodger that's thrown it.
stay with us, Charlie.
Would have loved to have McCann mic'ced up tonight.
Not good for TV...
Holy crap.9 more outs.
I really thought Ethier was going to ground into a double play.
Charlie can finish the game as far as I am concerned.
No shift on him? I wondered why... it looked like a typical Altuve to Correa DP
I think Charlie, JV if needed is the plan.
Don’t forget about Keuchel for tough lefties.
You have to send him, right?
Just go out and pump quality strikes.
You make it sound so easy.
Like getting the first hitter out.
Good K, but I have no idea what is a strike.
That was a filthy one
I hope they go three up, three down.
Keuchel getting loose.
State Farm commercial at the break. i'm taking that as a positive sign for an insurance run or more.
Morton due up fourth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't know why but I like a 5 run lead better than a 4 run lead.
My stomach is upset and I'm starting to feel hot. I may throw up.
You don't take Morton out for any situation.
That shot of MMPUS is amazing. 20K? 30K? in the park? Wish I were there.
Is it Morton's to finish? Who is left if not?
Think it’s a capacity crowd.
Probably closer to 10k. No upper deck, only 3rd base and crawford.
They showed the upper deck and it was packed.
So, Darvish is a free agent...
I want no part of him. Or his likely contract.
Dodger fans looked a wee worried
Now I'm getting teary. I can't take this.
Morton should get the 9th.
Astros already have a crowded rotation for 2018 I would go to war with.
I think I’m running a fever.
I tell Charlie to take every pitch.
I a wee worried. I'm on my last beer.
I'm nearly speechless, not teary, but otherwise... right there with ya.
I'm slightly too young to remember '80, but I've been thinking of '86, the B's, the 100+ loss years. It's a bit much right now.
It's been a heck of a row to hoe, this Astros fandom of ours.
Alright, I'm here for the 2017 season. What did I miss?
My heart is in trouble but I can't stop watching now.
Whatever happens...my Astros love has only gotten stronger with you freaks.
Again. Three more outs. Live in the moment.
Some ins, some outs, some what have yous.
I'm glad you're here.
I hear the astros might finally be good again this year. Is Pete Harnisch still on the team?
My heart is whacky.
Series MVP has to be Springer right?
I'M IN TEARS AND I DON'T CARE WHO KNOWS ITSent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
McCullers was honest about having nothing and just trying to hit it out. Some mature responses.
Game 7 mvp should be McCann
World Series champions and of the best 6 players, one is over 30
I'm not sure we lose anyone next year except for Beltran.
I can't wait for Sparks.
Greatest and best sportsfan sequence of my life. Bigger than my hometown Saints, or my alma mater’s two cfb nat championships
I’m so proud that I got to share this season and playoff run with all of you guys and gals. It’s been a wonderful, exhilarating ride.
This really happened.
No doubt, sharing the ups and downs with the crew here for the post dozen years has enhanced my knowledge and enjoyment of Astros baseball, and made this moment more special because I know there are so many other fans weeping with joy now just like I am.Hugs/High 5s to all OWAers (lurkers too)
So Fox Sports turned into the Hallmark Channel?
This is the best sports moment of my life, even eclipsing my Horns beating USC in 2005.
So now I have to make plans to head to Houston next year to see that trophy!Awesome proposal by Carlos!
My bank account is about to take a beating in the MLB shop.
We won the World Series without Verlander or Keuchel picking up a W.
Radio guys said early some made a 14 million dollar bet on LA. Doh
If you had told me this 3 weeks ago I would have laughed in your face Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Clutch pbp, Nate.Thanks again.
Every year we archive the GZ for posterity and make it private. I think this one is going to stay up forever.
Steve Sparks time on 790. Let the fireworks begin!
I was depressed for days after the '80 loss. It was clear that the NL rep would win the Series because of KC injuries, and they had that 5th game against Philly in their grasp.
It was nothing but creeping dread all day... then the game started and I was terrified. It only got worse when they went up 5 - 0... WHAT IF THEY BLOW IT?And now I never have to think that way ever again.
After, game 2 and 5. All I thought was, when they blow the lead will they have one more magical finish. But McCann refused to let that happen.
Yeah Buck started getting ass-y about McCann's trips out there and I just wanted to smack him across the mouth. He had no idea what McCann was doing out there and he was being a jackass about it.
Same
Yes, that was a depressing time. A healthy J.R. would have made all the difference. He was unhittable until the stroke.
Reid Ryan making me cry again.
Someone get Aussie Astro on the bush telegraph.
I dispatched a dingo. Should be there by Saturday.
